Black netting is almost invisible from a distance, providing protection from pigeons whilst being unobtrusive. It can prevent pigeons from flying, roosting or perching anywhere they are not wanted. Pigeon netting is one of the most effective bird netting deterrents since it can be used on both commercial and residential structures. When properly placed and maintained on a regular basis, it may provide entire protection for vast areas.
This netting has an MBL of 14.5kg and a weight of just 0.021kg per square metre. HDPE netting is stable over a large range of temperatures and does not absorb water, so its weight does not increase when wet. It also does not lose strength when wet.
Pigeon netting prevents pigeons from breeding in undesirable situations and from reaching balconies and ledges. It is usually found in gardens, parking lots, and on roofs.
One of the key reasons pigeon netting is the finest pigeon deterrent is that the birds cannot get through it. Pigeon netting should have a mesh size of 50mm.
This keeps birds from becoming entangled and harming themselves. In rare cases, bird deterrent spikes can give some protection, but netting provides complete coverage of huge areas.
Tensioning wire and fittings may be used to install various varieties of bird netting, including pigeon netting. Anti-bird netting is simple to install with the correct equipment.
Threading the wire through each mesh, secure the netting to the wall or posts at regular intervals. There should be no openings between the netting and the wall that would allow birds to get through. Once the fittings are in place, the wire may be tensioned.
Although only 50mm mesh, pigeon netting is available in three distinct colours. Netting in black, stone, and white can be ordered to fit the environment in which it will be installed.
