Salter Cyclones - Pilot Units & Test Work
Salter Cyclones has a fully operational laboratory and test facilities offering full investigative and performance verification services which are carried out under actual process conditions.
Equipment includes:
- Hydrocyclone Test Rigs for Hydrocyclones from 10mm to 10 inch
- Laboratory Multi-Gravity Separator for efficient separation and upgrading of fine metals and minerals, particularly in the particle range of 5-100 micron.
- Laboratory Mineral Separator which is an invaluable tool for the quick and efficient separation of mineral grains of close specific gravity.
As a guide, if test work is needed with the larger Hydrocyclones in one of the test rigs, a minimum of 50 kg solids are required to make up to 350 litres of the slurry to be treated. Testing on the Multi-Gravity Separator requires 80 kg of dry solids weight.
PLEASE NOTE: an Incoming Sample Datasheet must be completed and returned to Salter Cyclones before any samples are sent or brought to the Laboratory.
