Pipelife - Model PEX-PERT-PB -Pipe Systems
With their leak-free performance and smooth internal surface structure for improved flow, reduced pressure loss and deposit formation, our PEX, PERT and PB pipes offer ideal solutions for your water supply systems.
A quick glance at PEX, PERT and PB pipes
All our pipes are ideal solutions for the distribution of hygienic drinking water.
Polyethylene of Raised Temperature Resistance (PERT)
Flexible pipes for quick installation, with excellent resistance to corrosion, tuberculation and deposits. PERT pipes do not freeze and therefore do not break in sub-zero conditions. They also have a low noise transmission. PERT uses the same fast and reliable connection systems that are used for PEX.
Crosslinked polyethylene (PEX)
Crosslinking gives PEX enhanced properties, such as greater long-term stability against internal pressure at very high temperatures, resistance to slow crack growth caused by external damage, and reduced creep (material flow) under compressive loads at fitting connections.
Polybutylene (PB)
Excellent resistance to creep and to environmental stress cracking. PB Pipes are not susceptible to corrosion or scale build-up. The strength and wall thickness of PB pipes means they have a better resistance to high yield, impact, tear, puncture, and have a low noise transmission
