Pivot International - Down-Hole Monitoring Tool for Sub-Sea Drilling in Oil and Gas Industry

Pivot International designed and manufactured a custom down-hole monitoring tool for a Norwegian oilfield technology company. The tool is engineered for sub-sea drilling applications, integrating multiple sensors such as temperature, pressure, magnetic flux, compression measurements, and a 3-axis accelerometer. It features data logging capabilities and a wired communication link, all functional at temperatures up to 260°C. The tool includes ultrasonic and electromagnetic sensors for precise measurement of metal thickness and detection of casing collars in harsh environments. All aspects of design, engineering, testing, and material sourcing were handled by Pivot International's subsidiary, A2E Limited.
