Plankton Net Assembly

Consists of net, of appropriate size and mesh, mouth ring, 3-point bridle, and Cod-End Jar, Bucket or Bag. PLANKTON NET FABRIC, SIZE and MESH: Net material - Nytex netting, stabilized Dacron collar, seam tape and thread. Double- or triple-stitched for long service under severe seagoing conditions. No baconing effect in sewn seam. Mouth diameter: 30 cm (11.8inch),50 cm (19.7inch), 75 cm (29.5inch) or 100 cm (39.4inch). Net length/mouth diameter rati 3/1 or 5/1. (The finer the mesh, the longer the net should be relative to mouth opening in order to maintain proper flow through the net.)
