PlantCare - Plant Alert for Sensors and Monitoring System

Every plant owner has asked himself the question, do I have to water now or not, is the plant maybe too moist or too dry? Especially with container planting, you can't just stick your finger in the soil, because the moisture in the top few centimeters says nothing about the moisture in the root area. In such cases, the PlantAlarm can assume responsibility – at least as far as the irrigation is concerned.

Depending on the plant, you choose one of three moisture limit values and put the sensor in the plant container or in the home garden. The sensor measures the moisture in the root area every hour. As soon as the limit is reached, a strong red LED lamp starts to flash. The thirstier the plant gets, ie the greater the deviation from the set limit value, the flashing frequency increases so that the urgency of watering can be recognized.
