Plasti-Fab DuroSpan - Model 250 -Closed Cell and Moisture Resistant Insulation
DuroSpan 250 insulation is a Type 3, closed cell and moisture resistant insulation. With an R-value of 4.27 per inch, the product boasts the same durability and flexibility as other DuroSpan products, with a compressive resistance of 25 psi. It is easy to install and can be used in many applications such as exterior sheathing, continuous insulation, basement floor, under slab insulation and cathedral ceilings. The addition of the laminated film to the top and bottom surfaces of DuroSpan 250 insulation board provides a more durable product that is less susceptible to damage.
The higher compressive strength of DuroSpan 250 makes it an excellent choice for under slab and below grade applications. Not only does it maintain its R-value for the life of the product, but provides the compressive resistance needed to meet strict building codes.
DuroSpan 250 insulation resists water absorption so it will retain its R-value even in applications where temperatures fluctuate. Markings provided on the printed face of DuroSpan 250 insulation assist in cutting to required dimensions and spacing of fasteners into framing.
