A plastic pelletizing line is a type of equipment used to reprocess and reuse waste plastics. It is composed of a series of machinery and equipment used to treat and process plastic scrap to ultimately produce high quality plastic pellets.
Plastic crushing: The waste plastic is first fed into the plastic crusher, which turns the plastic waste into small particles or pieces through cutting and crushing.
Plastic cleaning: The crushed plastic pellets are cleaned by a washing machine to remove impurities, dirt and residues.
Melting and extrusion: The cleaned plastic pellets are fed into a plastic granulator, where they are melted under high temperature and pressure, and the molten plastic is extruded into continuous plastic strips through an extruder.
Cutting and cooling: The plastic strips are cut by a cutting machine to form plastic pellets of the required length and cooled by a cooling unit to cure and stabilize them.
