Ashtead Technology - Pliant Flange Measurement System

Ashtead Technology in partnership with PLIANT Offshore offers the PLIANT Flange Measurement System (FMS).

FMS offers fast, safe and accurate as-built measurements of monopiles ensuring they are in spec prior to installing the transition piece.

The FMS is a remote operated device and is equipped with a landing assistance functionality.  RGB cameras are mounted on each of the legs enabling the operator to have a clear view while stabbing the tool.

Eliminates the need of personnel on the flange.

• Precision measurements of ovality, flatness, inclination and direction of the monopile within 15 minutes.
• Used fully remotely without any operators physically required on the monopile.
• Robust taper measurement of the flange with the exact height of the inner and outer diameter measured.
• All measurements can be stored, analysed and played back for offline analysis, survey and quality control purposes.
• Proven to be robust and very suitable for harsh offshore conditions while maintaining accuracy.
