Plimat - PVC Transition Fittings
Rigid PVC (non-plastified polyvinyl chloride). This material is appropriate to be used in contact with drinkable water and other fluids. This material is in accordance with the standard ISO/TR7473.
Standards
The PLIMAT tapped fittings in rigid PVC strictly respect the standards ISO 7/1; NP-45; DIN 2999 for the screws and the specified regarding the mechanical characteristics ISO 2035, of temperature resistence ISO 2507.
Regarding the jointing diametres they are in accordance with the specifications of standard DIN 8063 and NFT 54-059.
Assembly
By screwing according to ISO 7/1 recomendations on the threaded parts and by jointing on the smooth parts always using appropriate glues. The transition fittings in PVC are expected to be assembled with other fittings or tubes in plastic material (PVC).
Service Pressure
The service pressure, just as an indication, is of 10 bar at 20ºC (water) or 6 bar at 40ºC (water).
