Plugco - Model PP -Inflatable Pneumatic Pipe Plug - Pipe Stoppers
Model Designation is Pipe Plug (PP). The main purpose of usage of PP model is blocking pipe or channels to stop fluid flow (water, sewage water or drain water). Pipe Stoppers are used for pipeline leakage test, if there is an available manhole on the line, the pipeline to be blocked from both side by two pieces Pipe Plugs and then the test water to be filled from manhole to test the system. Also, these pipe bladder plugs used as pipe stopper which are blocking the line and sealing the pipe. It is kind of expandable rubber plug. Pneumatic plugs expand by air pressure and stop the flow to seal the pipe line.
Pipe Plugs are mainly used in pipe line rehabilitation field. Since, pipe plugs are only solution to stop the flow. Inflatable Pipe Plugs are pressurized by air source and expand in the line and seal it 100%. The friction force between rubber plug and the pipe prevents sliding of pipe plug inside the pipe.
PP model pipe plug does not include bypass connection, but that includes inflation connection and holding hooks. Flow through option is available for Pipe Test Plugs.
Material: That stoppers are made from SBR+NR mixed rubber, nylon cord, Kevlar cord and strong fabrics.
Dimensions: These balloons are available in many different sizes ranging from 30 mm to 2000 mm. These plugs are available in many different pressures ranging 0,2 to 12 bar.
Application: The inflatable pipe plugs are used for pipes, channels and circular tubes blocking the line to stop flow. Air supply is required to inflate the pipe plug. There is inflation port for air inlet. Always use PlugCo air control device to operate the pipe stoppers.
