Plugline - Top Hat Packers and Rubber Bladders

Top Hat Packers and Rubber Bladers are similar to lateral packers, main difference is they consists of two different materials, top hat packers and rubber bladders. They are designed and used for repairing leakage of connections between main and lateral pipes. The attached lateral bladder is not integrated into the packer, this separation allows independent inflation of the packer and bladder. Therefore, they are easily placed on the part of the pipes to be repaired. Special rubber raw material used in the production of Top Hat Bladder can be inserted into joints with little to no wrinkling upon hardening. Special push rods can be used to position the packer inside of the pipe Packers are available for pipe diameters from 100 mm (3,93") to 650 mm (25,51"). They are specified as standard working pressures of Top Hat Packers 2,0 Bar (29,00 psi), 2,5 Bar (36,25 psi) and 3,0 Bar (43,51 psi) and standard working pressure of Rubber Bladders is specified as 1,5Bar (21,75 psi).
