Politox - Model MB-RES -Water Toxicity Measurement Sensors
The large number of toxic agents in the water might require an equally large number of specific sensors for each toxic. However, WOLA’s solution is to grow a specific indicator microorganisms – sensor microorganism – whose metabolism will be affected in a higher or lower range depending on the quantity of the total toxicity in the water. Analysing the variation in the microorganism metabolism function charts, the AI can give us a first approach about the kind of toxicity existing in the water, whereas the MB-Politox will keep samples of the analysed water which toxicity levels exceed the prefixed limits.
