What are Polypropylene Storage Tanks? Polypropylene, also known as PP, is a thermoplastic polymer used in a wide variety of applications such as the manufacture of water storage tanks. Polypropylene Tanks are ideal where high-temperature liquids need to be stored or processed. Within the chemical and water treatment sectors, in particular, there is an increased demand for the storage of more aggressive chemicals, ranging in temperature from ambient up to 80°C for water (please contact us regarding other chemicals) and it is accepted that conventional polyethene tanks are not suitable to meet this new challenge.
