PolytechMagnetic Separators for Coolants and Oils

SHARE

Polytech`s magnetic separators are engineered to effectively remove both ferrous and non-ferrous solid contaminants from coolants and oils, optimizing industrial operations such as grinding, honing, and lapping. By reducing the reliance on filter cartridges, these separators enhance cost efficiency and maintenance intervals. The design features a magnetic drum composed of alternating permanent magnets and steel discs, extending the magnetic field through magnetized discs for enhanced performance without the use of high-cost magnets. In machining operations like broaching, milling, and drilling, these separators effectively decrease small fines buildup in coolant, thus prolonging machine tool lifespan. Additionally, a comb type scraper coupled with an adjustable discharge chute ensures efficient sludge removal. Customization is available to meet specific application requirements, with higher flow rates obtainable upon request.

Polytech magnetic separators have been designed to remove ferrous and non-ferrous solid contaminants from coolants and oils.

Magnetic separators can substantially reduce filter cartridge consumption and element changes when used in grinding, honing and lapping operations where filter cartridges are used. They can reduce the concentration of small fines left in the coolant by chip conveyors in broaching, milling and drilling operations that can settle in tanks and reduce machine tool life.
