Seaward - Model PrimeTest 50 -Portable Appliance Tester
The PrimeTest 50 portable appliance tester is battery powered and handheld to allow for fast and efficient testing with clear PASS/FAIL indication. A simple range of tests are selected at the push of a button to test earthed equipment, double insulated equipment, mains cords and leads. New updated 5th Edition products now include 250V insulation resistance test for testing sensitive and surge protected equipment.

The PrimeTest 50 is a great choice for those needing one of the most reliable and easy to use PAT testing machines available.
This PAT tester is ideal for those testing smaller quantities of equipment with an emphasis on simplicity and ease of use. Perfect for simple equipment checks or where enhanced visual inspections are being carried out by Staff.
The PrimeTest 50 is capable of testing Class 1, Class 2, Cables and IT equipment, providing clear PASS/FAIL indication on a large LCD display.
Seaward’s unique ‘ZAP’ technology ensures that earth continuity measurements are accurate in situations where other testers struggle to provide reliable measurements, such as measuring through rust, limescale and other surface contamination.
Three test buttons allow the user to select the appropriate test and an internal smart circuit identifies if an appliance or an extension cord is connected.
The PrimeTest 50 also incorporates a mains outlet test and is supplied with all necessary accessories to help organisations perform PAT Testing with a minimum of fuss.
The PrimeTest Series Testers can be used with our free PATMobile App as part of a combined record keeping and reporting solution. The PATMobile App works with the PrimeTest 50 to enable the input and storage of test records alongside barcode scanning, label printing, photo tagging and reporting.
