Tisch Environmental - Model Pollen Sense (PS) -Portable Automated Airborne Particle Sensors
Tisch Environmental Pollen Sense (PS) portable sensors produce human readable microscopic, 3D images of airborne particles in real-time. Identification of NEW particles and expanding existing particle identification libraries is accomplished through the PS Particle Hunter (Al/ML) Platform. Continuous Learning from human correction and Al/ML analysis of real-time and historical images allows PS to rapidly increase identification accuracy.
The current Pollen Sense portable sensor captures airborne particles on tape and creates the images under visible spectrum lighting. Particles are resolved down to 1 micron. Other wavelengths, optics, and particle suspension (i.e. water sampling) are feasible adaptations of the PS sensor technology for custom applications.
Pollen Sense was founded with the goal of reducing severe allergy suffering and protecting people from hazardous particles in the air they breathe. Typical air pollution sensors report only size and count (i.e. PM2.5), pollen/mold is manually counted, and industrial workers may wear an air sniffer once a year.
Tisch Environmental Pollen Sense offers real-time and automated identification. Delivering data to customers via API, consumer apps, and widgets.
The APS-400 series particulate sensor is a spore-trap style collection device with an integrated imaging and recognition system.
The system is a non-condensing environment designed to recognize particulates in the 1-100 micron range.
