Clear Vue Cyclones - Model CV1700 -Powerful and Efficient Dust Collection System
The CV1700 Dust Collector System is an advanced and efficient solution designed for woodworkers, small businesses, and other operations requiring effective fine dust collection. It boasts an impressive suction capacity of 1700 CFM, making it suitable for most midsize shops. The system features a 6-inch inlet that necessitates corresponding ducting, which can be divided into multiple drop lines to maximize its dust collection capabilities. The cyclone bodies are constructed from a durable 1/8-inch thick patented copolyester (PETG) plastic, blending the toughness and scratch resistance of polycarbonate with the cost-effectiveness of acrylic. The system includes a 5HP motor and operates in a three-phase configuration. Note that the provided electrical box is not compatible with three-phase power supply. Our cyclone bodies are built from heavy gauge 1/8″ thick patented copolyester (PETG) plastic, which includes the best qualities of both acrylic (Plexiglas) and poly carbonate (Lexan). PETG plastic has the toughness and scratch resistance of poly carbonate, is cold forming (can be bent at room temperature to 90 degrees without breaking) and is very impact resistant. Additionally, it has the cost effectiveness of acrylic without being brittle.
Our cyclones are thermo-formed over machined round forms, making them as true to a perfect circle as possible. All seams on our cyclones are of an offset lap type joint, making the inside of the cyclone very smooth thus keeping air turbulence and friction to a minimum.
