The pre-wash screws has are specially designed to discharge forein bodies in the material and for moistening of the material with water. This is mainly used for the recycling of film for pre-treatment and for protection of the  intensive washer.

  • The film flakes are fed through the feed hopper into the water. Heavy particles such as glass, sand or metals sink to the bottom of the entry zone and are periodically discharged via 2 pneumatic valves.
  • The residence time of the material in water ensures sufficient moisturing of the film flakes.
