Armtec - Precast Concrete Pipe
Armtec’s precast reinforced concrete pipe, box culverts and spans are used for transmitting stormwater and sanitary (waste) water. Concrete pipe is primarily used for gravity storm and sanitary sewers, and is available with bell and spigot connections and rubber gaskets for maximum water tightness. Pipes are made in standard diameters of 250 mm to l,350 mm, with larger sizes available on special order. A full range of accessories is available for all pipes, including elbows, tees, beveled ends, end sections, headwalls and anchor blocks.
Precast box culverts are primarily used for transmitting stormwater and for short-span bridges. Box culverts are manufactured in standard section lengths of 2.44 m, with other lengths available on request. Our industry-leading Super Box culverts, consisting of stacked top and bottom boxes, are designed for increased flow or where longer spans or higher rises are required.
