Precision Air Quenching

Dimensional stability, reduced residual stress levels and enhanced mechanical property levels are optimized in CAN-ENG’s Aluminum Heat Treatment Systems through our proven Precision Air Quench (PAQ™) technology. PAQ™ systems can be integrated in-line or off-line for flexible modular processing. The PAQ™ systems integrate a unique combination of recirculating air chambers, distribution nozzles, dampers and directional ductwork that uniformly delivers conditioned quench media leading to repeatable and uniform property and dimensional results. Quench parameters are developed for each component and once validated can be integrated as part of the product recipe.
