Boldan - Preliners

Preliner is installed between the old pipe and the liner in order to protect liner and resins for example from dampness and sharp edges. Preliner avoids the spreading of the dissolved resin and other substances from the liner to the area surrounding the pipe. In case the pipe under renovation has been badly damaged, preliner can also be used as formwork for the liner. Preliner is also used in the free space (between the inversion drum and the drainage point) to prevent excessive swelling of the liner. It is recommended that Preliner is always used in the concrete pipes to prevent any damage caused by the water outside the pipe.
