The company Euro SITEX s.r.o., formerly Sitos Trading, was found in 1994 by the screen manufacturers SITOS IS Hermanice, Hutter & Schrantz IS Vienna and Ludwig Krieger Draht und Kunststofferzeugnisse GmbH Karlsruhe in order to create a professional consulting and trading company that would sell their products exclusively within East-European markets . Sitos Trading had been progressing successfully and soon acquired a leading share in the Czech and Slovak industrial screens markets.

The assortment range had been further developing based on the extensive marketing and experience of the foreign partners. Wire mesh and technical cloths including filters, perforated sheets, wire and plastic conveyor belts were subsequently added. The vast majority of the product range comes from the Euro SITEX s.r.o. founders´and partners´own production. Where the market demands exceeded the production possibilities of the Company, cooperation with renowned European manufacturers, such as ROLF KÖRNER GmbH, was established.

In 1997 the Company started building a sales network of its exclusive representatives and subsidiaries within Eastern Europe. Over time, its services and products reached sixteen countries through eighteen representatives and, due to their high quality, their position in several markets is now dominant.

The rapid development of the assortment together with the growth of the sales network had impact on Sitos Trading itself. Firstly, the Company’s name was changed to Euro SITEX s.r.o. in connection with the start of its own production as well as expanding business activities within Eastern Europe. The original group of three salesmen has been transformed into today’s team of forty professionals representing the top in their area of expertise. At that time the Company also obtained the CSN EN ISO 9001:2001 certificate.

March of 2002 represents a fundamental milestone in the history of Euro SITEX s.r.o. as the HEIN, LEHMANN GmbH group became its shareholder. This giant in the field of industrial screens and conveyor belts production adds to the existing production capacity of the Company, establishing a service and product portfolio that has no parallel in Eastern Europe when it comes both to quality and quantity.

Another important turning point in the history of the Company is September 2003 when the first part of its new Commercial and Logistic Centre was completed.

At the beginning of 2009, Euro SITEX s.r.o. already was the largest Czech manufacturer of industrial screens. The second and third parts of the corporate premises were completed, establishing commercial and office complex ready to welcome our respectable customers. On top of that, a new company store offering the entire product range on more than 600 m² was opened. Subsidiaries under the name Euro SITEX s.r.o.® were operating in already eight Eastern European countries.

In 2013, Euro SITEX s.r.o. managed to restore and maintain its development following the 2008 World Economic Crisis as well as to strengthen its position within Eastern Europe. Thanks to increased production capacity we started to deliver goods to Asia and Africa.
