PVS - Model DAF/DOF -Pressure Released Flotation Plants
DAF (Dissolved Air Flotation) & DOF (Dissolved Ozone Flotation) Plants: This process technology is based on the pressure released flotation principle and is mainly applied in case of separation of tiny particles in liquids. The difference between DAF and DOF plants is that DOF plants not only feed oxygen (O2), but additional ozone (O3) as well in form of fine bubbles (micro bubbles) into the liquids. By creating a bubble haze in the liquid (lactic appearance), not only sufficient O2 and O3 is kept in the liquid, but also the transfer process of gaseous into liquid (dissolved) aggregate is being accelerated. Thus the efficiency of the separation and degradation process is increased.
Depending on the hydraulic load and the required purification capacity, DAF/DOF plants from 10 l/s up to 1000 l/s (modular design) are available.
Because we have achieved a very high standard by means of our research, based on empirical values, especially by applying an innovative process technology based on homogenization of liquid due to micro bubbles and their effect on flotation and oxidation. This is a guarantee for a frictionless operation, even after expiring of the guarantee period.
Everywhere you can remove dispersed and suspended solids in water by means of adherent gas bubbles (in sufficient quantity) which are transported to the water surface and can be removed by scraper devices. DOF and DAF plants are operated on the basis of the same flotation principle , whereby DOF plants can be additionally applied in order to degrade solids in liquids by means of ozone processes (strong oxidizing agent).
