PRI - pH Neutralization Systems
Skid-mounted, multi-stage or single stage continuous flow and batch effluent pH neutralization systems. Designed to monitor and regulate the pH level of effluent streams to meet internal pH guidelines and process requirements, or to regulate effluent waste streams to meet local sewer authority discharge guidelines. Standard systems are available in sizes from 1 GPM to 1,000 GPM, with custom systems available.

From small, compact solutions (100 – 2000 Liters per Day) to production facility solutions (over 750 Liters per Minute), PRI can design a system to meet your specific performance and space requirements, and comply with industry standards. PRI’s Waste Neutralization Systems are fully engineered, fabricated and tested in our facility. Systems can be integrated directly with your PRI waste treatment system, or integrated into your existing process.
- Tanks: heavy duty PE/PP/FRP or stainless alloy
- Piping: PVC/cPVC/PE/PP/FRP or stainless alloy
- Controls: NEMA 4 / 4X with PLC, touchscreen HMI and emergency stop

Sample Two-Stage pH Neutralization
Below is a sample room layout for a large-scale system used for a pilot plant facility. It shows dosing systems, neutralization skids, and large process waste collection. This system was fully integrated to work in conjunction with a PRI Bio effluent sterilization system. After waste is discharged from the biologic drug development process, it is collected, cooled and filtered, and neutralized prior to discharge.
