HAMMEL Recyclingtechnik GmbH started in 1996 with three employees at the Bad Salzungen location. Through continuous development, HAMMEL has grown into one of the world's leading companies, with several hundred employees, in the field of shredders and recycling technology.

HAMMEL develops efficient complete systems and special machines. Our competent team works closely with our customers and dealers to find the optimal and most reliable solution for their needs.

The assembly of HAMMEL products takes place centrally in our main plant in Bad Salzungen, Thuringia.

The world's first mobile scrap processing plant was developed and manufactured by HAMMEL. With this complete plant, it was possible for the first time to process mixed materials, such as car bodies, into material-separated end products.
