Probodelt - Model LCAA -Attractive Leiodelt Food Attractant

Description What is it?

It is a plastic vial containing 50ml of attractive substance inside. The vial is closed with a plastic cap and sealed with an aluminum sheet. The attractive aroma spreads through the walls of the vial.

What`s the use?

It is a specific food attractant for the capture and control of the truffle beetle (Leiodes cinnamomeus). The attractant fits into the base of the Leiodelt Trap and captures the adults of the beetle, thus avoiding the damage caused by the same adults and the larvae on the truffles.

How to apply it?

1. Bury the Leiodelt trap in such a way that the upper row of inlet holes is at ground and the lower row is buried.
2. Once the trap is placed, open the bag containing 5 units of Attractive Leiodelt and place one inside the trap, by enching it at the base of the trap.
3. Finally, we will place a tile or tile on the lid of the Leiodelt Trap to avoid direct exposure to the sun.
4. When the first capture of Leiodes is detected, drilling the aluminum seal with a pen, twig or similar (NUNCLow with a knife or sharp object, as the plastic stopper underneath the aluminium seal)

When to apply it?

In early September we will install in the field the Trampa Leiodet . Attractive Leiodelt. Once we detect the first catch, we will drill the aluminum seal (without damaging the plastic stopper below).

How many Attractives Leiodelt placed?

If the campaign before this has been the first with beetle damage on the plantation we will place 30 units per hectare.

In the case of a plantation in which we have been damaged for several years, we will place between 60 and 80 units/ha.

How`s it sold?

The minimum venda unit is 5 units (one bag). Each box contains 4 bags (20 units)

When to remove it?

We`ll remove the trap . Attractive Leiodelt once the truffle collection campaign is over
