Chemitec - Model 42 Series -Process Control Device
Chemitec introduces the 42 series family of industrial control instruments designed for the measuring: pH/ORP, Dissolved Oxygen, Conductivity, Turbidity, Suspended solids, Chlorine, Chlorine Dioxode, Ozone. Chemitec is able to satisfy the most common applications and moreover to develop specific solutions for the most demanding markets.

The 42 series developed by Chemitec is dedicated to the water treatment and industry sectors, and enables the following parameters to be measured:
- pH/REDOX
- Dissolved oxygen
- Conductivity
- Turbidity
- Suspended solids
- Chlorine
- Chlorine dioxide
- Ozone
Display
- Simultaneous measurement (numerical and bar graph) and temperature values.
- Scrolling output values.
- Graphic icons for: status of digital outputs, washing cycle, data recording, alarms.
- Possibility to display the measurement only in large format.
Data recording
- 4-bit internal flash memory (about 16,000 records).
- Recording interval: 1 to 99 min.
- Type: Circular (F.I.F.O.) or filling.
- Ability to view the logged data in table or graphic form, with indication of the maximum, minimum and average values in the selected periods.
PID control
- P - PI - PID functions activated on the analogue or digital output.
- Proportional range: 0 to 500%.
- Integral time: 0:00 to 5:00 min.
- Derivative time: 0:00 to 5:00 min.
2 analogue outputs
- Output 1 programmable for measurement.
- Output 2 programmable for measurement / temperature /PID control.
- The limits of the outputs are freely programmable within the measuring range.
4 digital outputs
- ON/OFF set point: Programming the operating range (hysteresis/direction) and start/stop time 000 to 999 seconds.
- PID control: Pulses, frequency or PWM (2 set points).
Alarm
- Programmable for: tool faults, minimum, maximum, set point delay, stay time (live check).
- Delay time: 00:00 to 59:59 mm:ss with minimum interval of 15 sec.
- Stay time 00:00 to 99:59 hh:mm
- Set point deactivation (in case of alarm): Enabling/Disabling.
Washing electrodes
- Programming the interval (minimum 1 5 min) and the duration.
- During washing, all the analogue and digital outputs are frozen.
Digital input
- To disable the doses.
RS485 serial port
- For set-up and remote real time acquisition or for downloading data (using dedicated software).
- MODBUS RTU communication protocol.
USB port
- USB for direct download on PEN DRIVE (optional).
Manual controls
- Possibility to simulate the analogue and digital outputs from the keypad.
Temperature compensation
- Using PT100 sensor with 3 or 4 wires, or PT 1000.
