PSL Systemtechnik - Model mCF2 -Mobile Cold Finger Portable Measurement Device for Wax and Paraffin Deposits in Crude Oil
The Mobile Cold Finger mCF2 is a portable measurement device from PSL Systemtechnik, specifically designed to assess wax, paraffin deposits, and the efficacy of inhibitors in crude oil. This advanced instrument features two measuring stations, making it ideal for low sample throughput or mobile, laboratory-independent use. Incorporating the sophisticated Cold Finger measurement technology in a compact size, the mCF2 ensures precise results on-site, directly at the point of conveyance. It allows measurement of wax formation temperature (WAT), total wax content, and shear effect by simulating temperature differences and depositing the wax contained in the oil on a cold surface. The device enables observations by weighing deposits at various intervals and temperatures to calculate the deposition rate. Designed for high operating safety and user-friendly operation, the mCF2 features precise specimen positioning, a closed measuring chamber for environmental protection, and the ability to re-melt and reuse specimens.
