PTE’s Pumping Station PSA-240 is engineered to lift wastewater to the Ecoflo Biofilter or any other type of septic instal - lation. Another model, the PSA-240L, is especially designed to handle treated effluent from the Ecoflo Biofilter STB-500/650 with Submersible Collecting Bottom. The PSA-240H model is engineered to fit with low pressure distribution system for drainfield.
Installed downstream from the septic tank, the PSA-240 and PSA-240H PTE Pumping Stations send septic tank effluent to the treatment system in controlled doses (adjus ted using on/off floats). The PSA-240L model is always installed downstream from the Ecoflo Biofilter with Submersible Collec - ting Bottom, as close as possible to the Bio filter. Treated effluent enters the tank, where it can be pumped to either an absorption field or a tertiary treatment unit.
Tank available without electromechanical components.
  • Polyethylene tank construction
  • Audio/visual alarm system
  • 0.4 Hp effluent pump
  • Weight: 50 to 56 kg (110 to 123 lbs) depending on model
  • Inlets (water intake and ventilating duct): fits 4` (100 mm) DR35 PVC pipes or SCH-40
  • Outlet: fits flexible pipes with 1.5` (38 mm) diameter for the PSA-240 and PSA-240L and fits 2` (50 mm) for the
    PSA-240H
  • The PSA-240 or PSA-240H is connected downstream from the septic tank.
  • The PSA-240L is connected to the outlet of the Ecoflo Biofilter with Submersible Collecting Bottom.
  • The PSA-240, PSA-240L or PSA-240H on/off float must be adjusted according to the required dose.
  • The ball valve must be adjusted to set pumping time of the PSA-240, PSA-240L and PSA-240H. This setting should be veri fied before the start-up.
  • The junction box is installed outside the tank and off the ground (on a pole) so it is never submerged and allows easy access.
