Pulse Jet Bag Filter / Pulse Jet Hose Bag Type Filters are known as conventional dedusting filters. TECHFLOW has developed new-age de-dusting designs for these filters which gives better life for filter bags, Lower emission levels, Lower Pressure drops, lower power consumption, Higher air to Cloth Ratios with better performance levels, and Lower Floor Space Requirement. TECHFLOW supplies customized bag filters on the bases of application requirements. These Pulse Jet Bag Filters are used where air-flows are in large quantity, temperatures are higher than ambient or the material to be handled is difficult.
The original concept of fabric filtration started over a century ago & is still valid & very practical, for the separation of solids from Air/ gas streams. Tubular Filter fabric (WOVEN & NON-WOVEN) hose bags are widely employed the world over, vertically placed within a housing. To prevent collapse under vacuum or pressure, these bags are retained by metal cages fitted with ventures. The dust cake build-up on filter bags is cleaned row by row, online or offline, with short-timed pulses of compressed air, blown in the opposite direction of the main airflow, from a clean air plenum. The built-in venture on top of the cages enhances the cleaning air volume by inducing more air from the top plenum.

Air Pollution Control Device
What is Air Pollution control Device? It is the equipment which first extracts the air with particles or dust or fumes from the processing equipment or any kind of manufacturing plant and then it filters the air and separates the dust, fumes, or any other kind of particles from air and then releases the clean respirable air into the atmosphere. This product is popular by many different names in many different industries. This equipment comprises of many components like filter bag, filter cage, filter cartridge, pulse cleaning valve, sequential timer, centrifugal blower, rotary airlock valve (RAV) and many more. Following schematic will help you to understand the operation.
Sequence Of Operations
- Dust laden air or gas enters the dust collector through the inlet.
- Air passes through the filter media while solid are retained on the media's surface.
- A signal from the timer actuates the opening of the normally closed solenoid valve.
- Opening of the solenoid valve release the air pressure in the tube
connecting the solenoid to the diaphragm valve, causing the valve to open. - A momentary pulse of compressed air flows from the air header down the purge pipe and out into each filter bag.
This momentary pulse takes all bags in one row off line through pressure reversal. - Solids are released to fall into the filter hopper or bin
- Filtered air exits through the clean air plenum exhaust.
