Pumped & Pressurised Systems
Agricultural Water Engineers are very committed to using the latest technology in pumped and pressurised water systems, and where possible, using EFFI electrical motors (tax efficient). Most of the borehole pumps fitted are inverter controlled (variable speed motors) which will maintain the pressure of the system. As water is required the pressure will start to drop in the system and the pressure sensor will start the pump slowly to maintain the pressure in the system as more water is required. The sensor and controls will increase the speed of the pump to maintain flow and pressure. Once the flow is stopped the pump will slow and then stop. This removes the need for stored water in reservoirs keeping the risk of contamination to a minimum. We still install reservoirs ad pumps for spring water systems of low flood boreholes to cover the needs of our clients. We carry a stock of pumps and control panels enabling us to respond to emergency call outs.
