PYDRO`s PT1 can be used for metering and data transfer even without the need of a power supply. It harvests energy from the water flow with a very low pressure drop. The meter data can be transferred via different communication protocols to the customer monitoring system.

The PT1 is a hydro-powered turbine flow meter for use in water abstraction wells, district metering areas (DMA) and custody transfer measurement of potable water. It measures flow and pressure at high accuracy levels everywhere in the network without the need of power supply.
