DTEX is composed of 48 filaments between 160 and 167, with almost no network nodes per meter. The yarn has been dyed black, eliminating the dyeing process for the produced fabric. It is suitable for use on warp knitting machines, water jet machines, and circular knitting machines, and is mostly used as weft thread, mostly for clothing fabrics and home textiles.
