Quest Controls TELSEC - Model ESB2 -Building Management and Monitoring System
The TELSEC ESB2 is an integrated system designed for managing and monitoring remote sites by enabling comprehensive control over environmental factors and equipment alarms. It supports up to 272 universal inputs and 144 digital outputs, with features like real-time facility monitoring via web browser configuration. It minimizes site visits and mitigates downtime by serving as an early warning system. The platform includes various TELSEC expansion modules and integrates seamlessly with existing HVAC systems through networked controllers. Powered by a 24 VAC/20-60 VDC supply, the ESB2 features a user-friendly touch screen with 24-bit TrueColor display. Connectivity options include Ethernet for protocols like IPv6, HTTP, and SNMP, and serial networking via RS485 ports supporting Modbus. Engineered to operate in diverse environmental conditions, it features a durable design with UL and CE certifications, backed by a 1-year warranty.

- Controls multiple air conditioning units for fan, cooling, heat, and economizer through optional Intelligent standalone Controllers.
- Uses Quest’s patented economizer control algorithm to dynamically adjust settings to optimize the use of outside air for cooling.
- Supports polling and alarming of 1024 registers for Modbus RTU slave modules.
- Converts Modbus RTU data to SNMP for remote polling and alarming of devices.
