REB Research - Gas Permeation Measurement System

We off a system to measure the permeation rate for gases through sheets of poymers or metal. The system meets ASTM standards. It is a small volume chamber with a presure sensor good to 0.01 mTorr, a high vacuum valve and a cell that can hold up to 2 atm on the high pressure side and vacuum on the low pressure side. Add gas to one side, vaccum out the otehr side; bake it out because of degassing, then shut the valve to the vauccum pump. The permeation is calculated from the rate of pressure rise and the volume of the chamber. Vacuum pump sold separately.
