Knox Western - Model TP 120 / 145 -Reciprocating Gas Compressors
The Knox Western TP Series compressors are engineered for precision in gas compression, ranging from 60 to 500 bhp. Designed for vibration-free operation, these compressors leverage a balanced opposed counterweight and forced lubrication, achieving seamless function across various running speeds up to 1800 RPM. The TP Series accommodates single throw units with capacities of up to 100 bhp, capable of handling one or two compression stages, making it versatile for various industrial applications. The robust design includes frame specifications for extended durability, such as FFL frame lubrication, alloy steel piston rods, and ductile iron components. The TP Series allows for configurations with up to four throws and can be adjusted with additional distance pieces and materials to handle pressures up to 6500 PSIG. With an emphasis on quality and environmental standards, Knox Western ensures consistency and reliability in all its operations.
The Two Throw version of the Knox-Western TP class frame is another one of our precision balanced machines capable of 1800 RPM with vibration free operation. As with all Knox-Western compressors, the Two Throw frame with its rugged construction was designed to operate in hostile environments with available features such as double compartment distance pieces, special materials of construction, and full flow oil filtration. Capable of one or two stages of compression.
The TP is a low horsepower line of compressors and was designed to meet a wide range of compression requirements. This compressor offers single and multistage applications to 6500 PSIG.
TP Series can be configured with distance pieces and special materials. It comes with a single, 2 and 4 throw configuration frame. The TP model can be splash lubricated or force feed lubricated.
