NUTEC MaxBoard - Model LD 2300 -Refractory Ceramic Fiber Boards
MaxBoard LD 2300 is a low-density refractory ceramic fiber board manufactured to precise dimensional tolerances, offering an optimal surface finish. These boards are essential in applications where aesthetics, performance, and uniformity are key. Rated for temperatures up to 2300°F, they are suitable for various high-temperature applications. The boards are produced from alumina and silica blends, creating high resistance to velocities, vibrations, and erosive forces. They are known for their low thermal conductivity, minimal heat loss, and heat storage qualities, making them ideal for furnace linings, boiler ducts, and stacks. MaxBoard LD 2300's high modulus of rupture and uniform density facilitate machining and cutting processes and ensure stability under thermal shock and resistance to non-ferrous metals. However, they are susceptible to phosphoric acid and concentrated alkali. With no asbestos content, these boards are safe to handle and install, fitting well into ceramics, glass, steel, and appliance-related industries.
MaxBoard LD 2300 insulating board is a low-density product manufactured to tight dimensional tolerances and an excellent surface finish. Considered for application in appliances and equipment where aesthetics, uniformity and performance are important. Its temperature rating up to 2300°F makes it an excellent option for a vast range of applications.
MaxBoard products are processed from alumina and silica blends. Are made to resist high velocities, high vibrations, erosive forces and mechanical stresses. The high modulus of rupture and uniform density makes these boards ideally suited for cutting or machining.
These products proved low thermal conductivity, low heat loss and heat storage. Vacuum Formed Boards are ideal for furnace linings, boiler ducts and stacks.
