Inconel 601 Flanges are made up of a nickel chromium alloy. The material grads range differently with the composition ratio. The 601 grade has 58% nickel, 21% chromium, carbon, manganese, silicon, sulfur, copper and iron in the composition. There are different types such as socket weld flanges, welded neck flanges, Inconel 601 Slip On Flanges, orifice flanges and so on. The flanges made of this material are strong, corrosion resistant to acids, reducing agents and oxidation and are also harder.

The Alloy 601 Flanges have 550MPa minimum tensile strength, 205MPa minimum yield strength and 30% elongation rate. The material is denser than the ordinary stainless steels and has 1411 degrees Celsius melting point. These flanges belong to the ASTM B564 specification and the standards are ASME, ASTM, DIN and other international standards such as ASME B16.5, B16.47 and so on. There are different functional types such as the ASME SB564 Alloy 601 Lap Joint Flange, slip on flanges, weld neck flanges, socket weld flanges and orifice flanges. The face type of the flanges vary as flat face, raised face and ring type joint. The sizes of the flanges range from ½ inches to 48 inches and the pressure ratings vary. The Inconel UNS N06601 Pipe Flanges can come in pressure classes ranging from class 150 to class 2500. These are presented with pressure numbers Pn6 through PN64. The applications of the 601 Alloy Weld Neck Flangeis in the chemical, power plant, petroleum and petrochemical industrial applications.
