Remotox - A Calcium Polysulfide Solution

Remotox is an aqueous calcium polysulfide based solution formed by the reaction of calcium hydroxide, elemental sulfur and water. Remotox is a non-hazardous calcium polysulfide solution with a typical pH of 11.5. The solution is deep yellow-red in color and may have a slight rotten egg odor. Typical weight of the solution is 10.6 pounds per U.S. gallon (1.27 gm/cc). Please contact us to obtain the detailed specification sheet on our Remotox formulation.

Remotox is corrosive due to its caustic nature. Workers are advised to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to avoid exposure to the skin and eyes. Use Remotox in well ventilated areas and do not mix with acids. Please refer to the Safety Data Sheet for further details regarding the safe handling of the product.

Materials of construction suitable for storing Remotox include stainless steel, fiberglass, polyethylene and polypropylene.
