SLEEK & MODERN LOOK

Residential U-drain offers a low-profile look that is far more appealing than other drainage options. The 1/2" slot is minimal and blends nicely with the surface material. There is not a more modern and sleek looking drain system on the market.

SIMPLE INSTALLATION

U-drain is simple to assemble and offers efficient installation. With bolt-together sections, assembly of the drain system is straight-forward. The ability to tie into the rebar grid makes for a clear process as far as securing and leveling the system (see EZ-Mount Bracket feature below). U-drain only requires two concrete slopes vs. a full 360° slope around the drain. Once installed, the drain can also be used as a center screed.

LOW MAINTENANCE

One of U-drain`s greatest benefits is the lack of maintenance it requires. The single-slot intake is simple to maintain and there are no grates to remove and clean. All it takes to clean a U-drain system is taking the cleaning paddle; inserting it into the trench and running it along the trench towards the sump. It`s as simple as that!

SINGLE-SLOT INTAKE

U-drain features an ADA compliant 1/2" wide single-slot intake that is both efficient and good-looking. There are no grates getting clogged and needing to be removed and cleaned. The single-slot is low-profile, blending into the surface material and does not pose a hazard to foot traffic.

BOLT-TOGETHER SECTIONS

U-drain is a simple and efficient bolt-together system. Each individual section has flanges on the ends with bolt patterns that coincide with the applicable connecting flange.  This makes for a simple assembly process.

EZ-MOUNT BRACKETS

U-drain sections feature our EZ-Mount Brackets. A rebar length is pounded into the ground through the slot in the bracket. Once the rebar is firm and below the top floor, the drain section can be leveled up or down. Once the desired level has been reached, simply tighten the set screw on the bracket against the rebar length to maintain the drains position.

SUMPS

Commercial U-drain features a variety of sump configurations. Residential Sumps are 12"x12"x12". Single and double inlet sumps are available for multiple drainage points. Each sump features a 4.375" diameter outlet to attach PVC or other drainage means for sump discharge.

SUMP LIDS

Residential U-drain offers a Checkerplate or Slotted Sump Lid option.

SILT STRAINER BASKET

For drainage applications that deal with significant amounts of debris, a Silt Strainer Basket is offered that allows for debris to be collected in the sump; simply removed and disposed of appropriately.

CLEANING PADDLE

The Cleaning Paddle offers an efficient way to clean out your drain trench. Simply insert the paddle through the slot intake, twist the paddle 90° so that the paddle itself is across the trench. Slide the paddle along the drain to clean out and push any debris towards and into the sump pit.

STAINLESS STEEL FINISH

In addition to our standard galvanized finish, Commercial U-drain and its components are available in Stainless Steel. For applications used in food-grade situations or highly corrosive atmospheres, Stainless Steel is an excellent choice.
