We would always recommend a stabilizer for PDC push reamers. This helps keep the PDC reamer in the centre line of the pilot hole, allowing for consistent reaming dimeter and to reduce whip.
Our PDC Reamers are designed with a taper and a spiral; these very important attributes make our reamers one of the best in the world.
The purpose of the taper is to centralize the reamer in the pilot hole to ensure a symmetrical hole is cut, equalize the size of the cut from side to side and enable you to ream from pilot to finish bore in the majority of holes. The spiral on the reamer helps to reduce chatter as well as reduce fluctuating torque.
Our ITM PDC Reamers are manufactured in push or pull body configuration, can be used both horizontally and vertically and are designed for 25,000psi compressive strength or less hard formations. On many occasions, they have completed bores 50% faster than traditional methods.
We also stock pulling tabs for all of our reamers. All our ITM PDC Reamers are manufactured to the highest standards in our state-of-the art American facility in Benton, Illinois.
