RKI AirLink - Model 6900 -Wireless Gas Detector
The RKI AirLink 6900 is an advanced wireless gas detector that leverages the latest in wireless technology for fixed gas detection. It operates on a dual battery system using 3.6V Lithium-Thionyl Chloride batteries and offers wireless communication options via 900 MHz or 2.4 GHz radios. This allows it to be deployed in remote or difficult-to-access locations without wiring constraints. The device utilizes sensitive sensor elements such as electrochemical, photoionization detection (PID), or low-power infrared sensors to identify a wide range of gases. The AirLink 6900 features magnetic non-intrusive switches for calibration, simplifying maintenance and diagnostics in the field. Supporting up to 255 addresses per network, the device is optional for expanding its network capabilities. It is certified for Class I, Division 1 & 2, applicable to Groups B, C, and D, and is suitable for various hazardous locations. However, some toxic gases are only certified for Division 2 applications.
The RKI AirLink 6900 is a versatile truly wire free transmitter using electrochemical, PID or low-power infrared sensor elements to detect a variety of gases. Wireless, dual battery power (3.6 V Lithium-Thionyl Chloride battery) with 900 MHZ or 2.4 GHz radio options. Magnetic switches allow for non-intrusive calibration as well as full system settings and diagnostics, while in the field.
