Vertex GreenMachine - Model 50 GPD -RO Membrane with Revtex 1:1 Membrane
Only 1 gallon of water is wasted for each gallon of fresh water produced. The Vertex GreenMachine™ uses the new RevtexTM 1:1 high-efficiency 50 GPD RO membrane to send less water to the drain. Only 1 gallon of water is wasted for each gallon of fresh water produced, significantly reducing the waste-water by up to 75% compared with standard RO membranes. This state-of-the art membrane is manufactured using special membrane material along with an improved design to make a 50% recovery rate possible at typical municipal water pressure of 40-100 psi. The system also uses NSF and WQA certified Greenblock® Carbon block filters which are made with eco-friendly coconut-shell greencarbon™ that is manufactured using a process which significantly reduces harmful green-house gas emissions.
Every household should have an point-of-use RO system which will remove an average of 95% of the dissolved solids from the incoming water including dangerous contaminants like arsenic, chromium 6, nitrates, lead and cysts.
The 5-stage system is designed to ensure water quality, membrane performance and filter life, where the incoming water contains a high amount of sediment as in some well water systems. An extra pre-filter stage is added before the membrane. This design can also be used to extend time between filter changes.
