The MTS Rock Cutter F14-630 is an advanced cutting system tailored for efficient performance with large excavators, especially those in the 8-14 ton range. It boasts high torque, ensuring robust power transmission, facilitated by a fully enclosed spur gear unit. The design includes cutting depth limitation features, which prevent the cutter from jamming and promote safe operation under challenging conditions. The gear unit's robust housing provides optimal protection for the motor and hydraulic hoses, enhancing durability. This cutting system comes with a transport frame, provision for easy replacement of chisels, and additional replacement chisels. MTS's rock cutter lineup consists of four models, with more under development, all adaptable with available hydraulic quick-change systems in the market. The wear bushes on the cutting heads, identified as FF90/75, offer a prolonged lifespan through simple bush replacement.
