The Roediger vacuum valve is a membrane-type globe valve with free ball passage of 50 mm, used for wastewater tanks of high-speed trains and other railway coaches. The vacuum valves operates automatically and self-regulating without the use of electricity. The negative pressure of the suction device at the train depot or workshop activates the opening of the vacuum valve. 

The vacuum valve is closing automatically at atmospheric pressure, allowing the simultaneous servicing of various train coaches by a single Operator.
The vacuum valve is heated by thermostat heating band. Operating temperature range: from -25°C bis +80°C .
