The RE 250-series float-type flow meters with a standard length of 250 mm (9.84 inch) is suitable for measuring a range of liquids, gases and vapours in closed pipelines thanks to its full-metal design. The robust construction permits use under tough conditions (aggressive media, pressure up to 400 bar, temp. -40 °C to +350 °C). The position of the float is transferred contactlessly to the display unit via a magnet system and shown there directly on the scale. No external auxiliary energy is required for this.
