Hoffman Defender - Rotary Lobe Blower Packages for Wastewater Treatment
The HOFFMAN DEFENDER™ Series rotary lobe blower packages are designed to effectively support municipal wastewater treatment applications, providing capacity up to 6,121 cfm. These blowers are engineered for the oil-free conveyance of air and neutral gases, proving beneficial in environmental settings. Featuring a low-pulse system, they minimize residual pressure pulsation during gas conveyance. They include advanced patented rotors to enhance the capacity-pressure ratio, thus offering efficient operation with lower revolutions. Quiet operation is achieved due to high-efficiency internal compression, silencers, and noise-reducing enclosures. The package offers simple installation and maintenance, facilitated by an easy access design with front panels and gas springs. Easy Maintenance
- Simplified Access - All maintenance operations are performed from the front with the removal of the front panel or panels and/or the opening of the upper panel with gas springs
- Effortless Adjustment & Replacement of Soundproof Filter SPF - By simply opening the noise enclosure`s upper panel (or removal of the front panel)
- Instant Oil Level Check - The oil level can be checked externally with the blower running, utilizing a level positioned on the front panel of the enclosure
- Easy Oil Change - An oil change can be performed directly from the front panel with easily accessible fill and drain hoses
- Automatic Belt Tensioning - An oscillating suspension system of the motor maintains the correct belt tension at all times, thereby reducing the load on the bearings
- Simple Belt Replacement - This is carried out from the front without the use of any additional equipment because of the automatic tensioning device
