MTB - Model CRX 1000 and 2000 -Rotary Shears
The CRX 1000 and 2000 Hybrid rotary shears & ripper are an shredders with two counter-rotating shafts. They may be delivered as a rotary shearer, with two cutting shafts, or delivered as a reaper, with two heavy shafts designed to break the products. Our rotary shears with their unique, innovative design have been designed by users for informed users. The cutting blades are easily interchangeable and for a very reasonable cost per metric ton. As a rotary shearer, each of the two shafts is equipped with claws to drive the materials forward. These materials are then cut by shearing, and then shredded. In case of use as a reaper, the product will be broken up between the two heavy shafts. "
With its innovative technology, the CRX 1000 and 2000 Hybrid shredders is easy to maintain. The feed hopper can be tipped by means of hydraulic rams and this system employs a low maintenance pivoting bearing. Down times for maintenance are particularly short. Due to its high cutting power, the CRX can shred a large range of difficult types of waste: tyres, including OTR (Off-the-Road) tyres up to 2.2 m in diameter, WEEE, large household appliances excluding refrigeration, OIW, etc.
The new rotors, developed to transform the rotary shear into a heavy duty ripper, are ideal for treating electronic boards, washing machines, etc.
A water injection nozzle is provided in the hopper in order to prevent the formation of dust and to reduce friction. The machine is designed to meet the most stringent requirements.
