Bakker - Rotor Assembly for Traction Motor

Permanent magnets allow for a compact construction of the motors and create high torque at low rotation speed. This is ideal in traction motor solutions for trains, busses and trams. For the rotor assembly in this example we produce a total solution including magnets on a laminated rotor covered with a glass fibre bandaging to protect the magnets.
